New Film Celebrates Wilderness and its Heroes

Forever Wild is a one-hour documentary celebrating America's spectacular wilderness, and shining a spotlight on some of the true heroes who have led local efforts to protect the special wild places they love. Hosted by Robert Redford, and featuring the prose of Terry Tempest Williams, read by the author, this inspirational film also includes conversations with the Campaign's own Doug Scott.

Forever Wild, a First Light film, is airing now on public broadcasting stations across the country. Upcoming broadcasts include San Francisco (KCSM) Sept. 12 at 9 pm; Albuquerque (KENW) Sept. 14 and 21 at 9 am; Boston (WENH) Sept. 17 at 10 pm; Seattle (KBTC) Sept. 17 at 9 pm; and Los Angeles (KCET) Sept. 19 at 9 pm. The film will broadcast coast to coast; check your local PBS station to see when it will run in your area (www.alacartetv.com/html/station/station.htm).
