Spring 2010 was ushered in by the U.S. House of Representatives passing its first wilderness bill of the 111th Congress. After a year of hard work by congressional champions and conservation supporters, legislation to expand the Alpine Lakes Wilderness cleared the House floor by a unanimous vote.
